A Cartoon About Expanding Your Vocabulary

One of the most distressing things about the current political climate (soundbites being more important than informed, considered policy) is the dumbing down of political discourse. Of course twitter doesn’t help.

Though I have a background in biochemistry, I confess that I didn’t know that pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis was the longest word in the English language. It isn’t a word I’ve ever had cause to use. Fortunately.
