Happy Holidays From Hondarribia

It’s not feeling very Christmassy here in Northern Spain. It has been 20 degrees C and it should be about 10, but in truth, it is like an everlasting summer. I’ve been out paddle boarding on the river Bidasoa and tomorrow I plan to go for a surf. Great fun, but not Christmassy. At least it gets dark at night and there are Christmas lights and decorations to enjoy.

Spammers, Passwords and Radio Silence

Hello Readers

It’s been a while. This blog has been the victim of spammers (apologies to those whose comments disappeared as I waded through all the junk) and I’ve had problems logging in. Things seemed to have calmed down of late, so I’ll get back to the updates soon.

But today I have 24 strips to letter (I’m moving to Spain in June and trying to get ahead so that I’m not working on packing boxes)…

The boyf, Billie and I used to live in Melbourne. Before we moved back to the UK, we did one last trip around Australia. Travelling in Australia with a dog can be challenging (you can’t go into National Parks and they are banned from a lot of beaches, or have to be on leash a lot of the time) and we found that the further we were from the big cities, the better our experience. I wrote up those experiences for an eBook called Dog Down Under.
