Great Great Ocean Walk

I’m running a little behind on my work this week, as last week the boyf and I took time out to hike part of the Great Ocean Walk with our friend, Clare. We did a 3 day section from Johanna Beach to Princetown and stayed overnight in 3 campsites, so had to carry all our camping gear – about 15 kilos each until we started drinking the wine and eating the food. Garden update

Despite some blasts of heat, our garden has survived pretty well and we have harvested a lot of courgettes, beans, lettuce, potatoes, herbs and a singular beet and tomato!

Hoses are banned so we have to water by can from the rainwater tanks. As they run dry, we will only be able to water from 6am-8am on Saturdays and Tuesdays! Absurd, when market gardens use a lot more water.

Recent Holiday Highlights and Back to Work

We had a great Christmas down at the Mornington Peninsula and after an extended time away from the drawing board, it’s hard to get back into the creative mindset. The heat doesn’t help (mid 30s today and 41 degrees C predicted for Monday) as I’d rather be at the beach.
