I knew Piers had a strip on Scrabble coming up (he saw my post about the preparation of this strip some time ago), but I didn’t realise it would appear on the same day!

Oscar harnesses the power of aikido

Oscar harnesses the power of aikido

Port Phillip is a great council. They sponsor, or promote a lot of community-building activities. I go to a community tennis session on Friday afternoons and my yoga class used to be free (I now pay for a class with the same teacher). This last 6 weeks I’ve been doing a self-defence course run by the Elwood Aikido dojo and it has been challenging to say the least. I  think I’ve learnt a lot and most of what I’ve learnt has been psychological and not physical.

But I’m looking forward to getting my Friday nights back!

(Especially as boyfriend and dog arrive here on Wednesday, yay!)

Synchronicity

Daily strips are written about 2 months ahead, as they are supposed to be sent to RBMA 6 weeks ahead (5 weeks, if you discount the secret one week window!), so it is nice when they marry up with something in the news on the day.
